Chief Operations Officer Josh Harmatz has recently been listed as one of the 100 finalists for the Sacramento Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Award, which recognizes 40 exceptional Sacramento area professionals for their business success and community contributions. The 40 Under 40 Awards will be presented on Tuesday, April 26 by the Sacramento Business Journal.
Harmatz was nominated by his employees for his exceptional motivation and drive, and his expertise in handling high-stress situations with efficiency and ease.
“Josh is the type of person that you can take a problem to and he will provide you with 10 potential solutions in 30 seconds,” said Katrina Silberstein, marketing manager. “He’s a quick thinker, a dynamic speaker, a motivator and above all, a person who is passionate about business and providing a solid and trustworthy product. Josh’s role in the growth and expansion of Voyage’s business and brand mission has been pivotal.”
In addition to operating his loan business, Harmatz has been instrumental in developing and expanding Voyage Home Loans’ monthly charity and community outreach programs. He has been actively involved in giving back to the community by participating in such events like a run to feed the hungry, planting trees with his employees and family, or helping to raise funds to buy Christmas gifts for a needy family.
“The real honor in this award is to be nominated by several of my employees,” said Josh Harmatz, Voyage COO. “We have such a passionate and motivated group here at Voyage. I am truly honored to have the opportunity to lead, among these leaders.”
